FirstService Brands approached AXIS for a solution to provide comprehensive business intelligence management and reporting. FirstService is one of the most progressive franchisors when it comes to brand development and data analysis. Their goal was to consolidate consumer and prospect data in one centralized online data visualization portal.
AXIS builds a fully integrated system that consolidates consumer/prospect by brand by Franchisee, standardizes the data for the purposes of cross-matching within the brands, and populates a tiered user comprehensive business intelligence visualization tool using Tableau Software™.
Database Development: AXIS consolidates multiple data sources (8 brands) utilizing different file formats into one consolidated view with multiple analysis filters (by brand, region, consumer type, product type, and more.)
Data Processing: Centralized data is cleansed, duplicates found and merged and everything is standardized in a common format following business rules specific to each brand. This data then populates a “sandbox” database for customer manipulation and also populates a separate operational database that feeds the Tableau reporting system. Tableau reports are accessible by each Franchisee brand.
Key Continuity Management (KCM) procedures are implemented to govern ongoing data updates.
